Job Summary:

Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced and accountable Senior Director LCD Marketing for our Camas, Washington facility.

Under the direction of SMA President, the incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of SMA's overall marketing plans.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent must be able to perform the following essential functions:

• Coordinate internal resources, outside vendors/agencies regarding advertising, public relations, and trade show requirements.
• Prepares and updates strategic product plans, sales forecasts and inventory programs.
• Prepares marketing-oriented sales bulletins, product comparisons and other pertinent and timely sales marketing or technical information for distribution to SMA dealers, sales manager, internal headquarters staff and/or end users.
• Coordinates the preparation of spec sheets, price sheets, and other literature or promotional material.
• Establishment of dealer prices, large quantity bid prices, and other special dealers promotions and programs.
• Researches ideas for new products and product categories, as well as new markets for existing products.
• Works with sales management in dealer selection and review, quota preparation, product training and development, and the implementation of other special marketing strategies to ensure SMA achieves its sales goals.

Job Requirements:

Seven to ten years related sales/marketing/technical industry experience.  Knowledge of display products and marketplace.  BSEE degree or equivalent.  MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
